I am a local Catholic Christian of the Des Moines area who writes in his free time, who has many writings in his possession that he has written; some of which have purpose behind them; though a good deal are in so poor a condition, that surely they require many more hours to edit them. Most of what he has written has not even met the basic qualifications to be useful to any other person, for so has it an origin in self, in all those matters which pertain only to him – to work, family, and all those things that are relevant to the narrow scope of the road he walks.

What good he seeks to do is all too vulnerable to be intruded upon by his own want, which overshadows over his heart, and twists his desire towards himself. The man does not realize he seeks only himself, but so is he deceived, and that by his corruptible heart. Though he be of the belief that he is only seeking the Lord as he ventures to write again, in truth all he seeks himself; as he embarks upon some resurgence of his own selfish purpose, whose end is to exalt only himself. He assumes the seat which belongs solely to the Lord, he takes over the sacred space of the heart, which is reserved for God alone. Alas, he has taken over the helm of his own ship, and in the waves he steers as he sees fit – yet lo! He hearkens nigh to the abyss, as he falls under the sway of the serpent! So quick does this man forget, that he is only dust, and all that he has, the King has granted. It is a gift, a gift the man corrupts as he seeks only himself; not realizing that at any moment, it can all be taken from him.

Yet even so, the Lord loves him, and the Lord has great patience, and the Lord shows mercy to his man, as He returns to the sinner even in the dire straits of his sin, and there guides him back upon the narrow road again. Here the sinner hopes one day to reach the end, to overcome and enter into the Gates of Heaven, and there meet Jesus Christ his King and friend.

Until then, if there be any especially severe criticism upon any of the writings of this website, which make the reader concerned for the wellbeing of the author – for how detestable such words strike upon the reader's heart, and emburden him with filth hardly fit for the sewer – then the author will permit himself to hear such criticism, assuming it is constructive, and can be reached at starmos.dev@gmail.com upon the reader's good pleasure.
